Merchants now have the ability to establish a cap on the amount that can be paid “on account” by customers. This functionality solves the problem of customers making Pay-on-Account orders that surpass their credit limits. By setting order limits, merchants can now prevent payments that go over the specified limit from being processed at the Shopify Checkout.
What's new:
Implement caps on amounts for "on account" customer payments
Avoid transactions that go beyond the SEPA direct debit limits
Set up universal limits or tailor them to individual customers
These options let sellers offer a great experience to their customers and get paid quicker without more risk.
